Panel discussion: Is Proximity from another planet?
This panel explores the practical potential and challenges of creating “15-minute cities” where key life essentials—work, housing, and services—are within easy walking or biking distance. The discussion will draw insights from Sweden's pioneering ABC city concept, launched in the 1950s with Stockholm’s Vällingby suburb, which aimed to integrate workplaces, homes, and centres in close proximity. Decades later, this idea resurfaces worldwide. Are we closer to achieving it? Or does the reality still feel far from reach?10.30 - 13:00
