Giovanni Lanza, MSc and PhD in Urban Planning, is a postdoctoral researcher and adjunct professor at Politecnico di Milano, Department of Architecture and Urban Studies (DAStU). His research focuses on analyzing the social and spatial implications of im-mobility and accessibility in various territorial and social contexts. Beginning with his doctoral research and continuing through his participation in international research projects and consulting for public administrations, he has developed and experimented with different techniques for analyzing and measuring im-mobility practices and accessibility levels. These methods have contributed to provide a broader understanding of mobility-related inequalities and to guide the implementation of policy measures for the physical redesign of urban spaces and the reorganization of mobility services.
